Q: Can your Roll-Up door be painted?

Definitely! Here at Woodfold, we're all about choice, so you can specify that your door be either factory-finished with clear lacquer, custom paint or stain, or unfinished for field application of paint or stain. Should you select an unfinished door, however, extreme care should be taken to ensure that the individual slats are not stuck together with dried paint or stain. This will adversely affect door operation.

A Tip: Woodfold's factory finishing services are generally less expensive than field finishing, and usually offer superior results. Each component is finished prior to assembly, assuring complete coverage, and problems with oils or grease coming in contact with the door during installation are minimized. Also, every finish we use is water-based and 100 percent environmentally safe - a big plus for the planet.
