Q: What is the difference between a Woodfold Series 140 door and a Series 220 or 240?

A: The Series 140 Accordion Door is intended for closet use, it has a utility grade or unfinished back depending on the material. Series 220 and 240 doors are finished on both sides.

The 140 & 220 doors are manufactured with plastic nylon rollers and a plastic swept wing handle that has a magnetic catch.  The 140 & 220 can never have a latch so if you are needing a door that stays closed securely the 240 door is the better option.

The 240 door can be manufactured with a closet grade back up to 8-0 tall.  The 240 door is manufactured with Ball Bearing rollers and has multiple latching and key options.
